Abbreviated biography for Gordana Schifanelli, Esq.
Gordana Schifanelli, Esq. is an attorney and managing partner of Schifanelli Law, LLP and professor of Financial Markets and Institutions and Law & Economics at the United States Naval Academy. She was born and raised in Belgrade, the capital city of former Yugoslavia on June 18, 1971. After living under sanctions for over a decade and ultimately the NATO Bombing of her home country, she arrived with her husband Marc Schifanelli in the US. Gordana graduated from the University of Baltimore School of Law. Her vast knowledge and international experience led her to her teaching position at the Naval Academy in Annapolis. She is a proud member of the American Bar Assoc., Maryland Bar Assoc. and New Jersey Bar Assoc.
In the summer of 2020, Gordana founded Kent Island Patriots, LLC, whose mission is helping Maryland’s Eastern shore residents gain knowledge and education in the laws and institutions governing local communities and laws pertaining to federal agencies that are regulating most of our daily lives.
